The Lunar Light Solar Facility is an 10-megawatt solar power generating facility located 12 km north of Belleville, Ontario. It uses energy from the sun to generate power by using 7 arrays of photovoltaic panels to create an electric field resulting in an electrical current. Each array contains one cluster consisting of two inverters (to convert from direct to alternating current) and one inverter transformer.
BluEarth acquired the Lunar Light Solar Facility in June 2015. It is the final of four solar facilities acquired from Canadian Solar Inc. Read more.
